Tom has over a decade of experience in quantum computing, and he currently leads the development and execution of the company’s pioneering approach to building the world’s most powerful quantum computers.
Under his leadership, the company has built the highest performing quantum platform in the world, setting records in two-qubit gate fidelity, single-qubit gate fidelity, and quantum state preparation and measurement (SPAM). He holds a PhD in trapped-ion quantum computing from the University of Oxford.
